As I have mention on the previous blog, will update on the solo ride to Thailand for the 3 Nation Charity ride.
So let's start with the solo ride up to Thailand for the 3 Nation Charity Ride.
Registered for the 3 Nation Charity ride around June, so gotta go if not wasted all the money for the event & hotel money. Also take this opportunity to go take a break from all the unhappy incident that have happened for the past few months.
The 3 Nation Charity Ride is held in Surathani, Thailand.
Duration: 24 Oct 2008 to 26 Oct 2008
So I decided to make it a straight away reach destination, moving out on the 23 Oct 2008 so that I don't have to stay over @ Hatyai for one night.
Donny was free from work that time so he offered to send me off to mid way.
We set to meet 4pm @ SPC Tuas to go in to avoid the jam.
We moved in with not much bike going into the custom at that time.
Stopped @ GP Esso to fill up our tank before filling up our stomach. =D
At GP Esso.After top up, we headed to GP town to have our hair cut, hair wash and dinner @ the coffeeshop having our favourite Bak Kut Teh. This time round they have the veg I like.
After dinner, we rested for awhile before we moved off and on our way.
Me to Thailand, Donny sent me off halfway to Melaka.
As time is still early on the way to Thailand, I stopped for a break with Donny @ Ayer Keroh toll.

The weather have been good thru till i hit Tapah, but still not that bad as not all the way is raining.
Going solo has its good and bad.
The good thing is that you can go on own time own target.
The bad thing is if shit happens, there's only you alone to handle and there's no one to talk to and you have to look after your own stuff even if you just need to got to the gents or buy something.
Have a stop @ Gurun R&R and take a short nap.

Reached Sadao border at around 730pm.
Finally, can take a photo of my max with the Thailand Border sign.
Due to holiday season, alot of tour buses keep coming in and the queue is damn fxxxing long that I have to queue for around 1hr to get the passport chop and the export document done as I cannot do 2 things @ the same time.
And finally, after an hour plus of queue and documentation, I'm on my way to Surathani.
Took the same route to Phuket but this time turning into route 43 then head straight.
Stopped for pump at the petrol stop we stopped last year when we headed for Phuket, memories just came into my mind.
Saw a group of Malaysia bikers who are also on their way up to Surathani but did not join them as their bike are too powerful to follow them. So I decided to carry on my own.
But at 1030am when riding up to Surathani, I realised I have hit the main convoy from Hatyai and was pulled in to join them.
And a few incident happened on the way up, scary.

At the petrol kiosk, saw a few familiar faces, din know that there's still some others who is going for the 3 Nation Charity Ride.
That means at Surathani have companies liao. ~LOL~
After arriving at the hotel and checked in, realised the room mate who was supposed to share room with me did not turn up, so in the end I got a room to myself.
Another boring time, tot at least got a room mate to talk to but ended up gotta sleep alone in a big room. The hotel room is damn spacious but I did not take a photo of it and I also dunno why never take.
But lucky enuff tat the TV program shows chinese show after 6pm all the way thru the night.
At least got something to do when alone in the room.
Went down to the welcome party together with some of the guys I know and joined them with their group. Nice people I can say.
The welcome party is damn nice, its a buffet style which can get crabs, oyster, satay, soup mee and beehoon, fried rice and many others.
Best of all, the beer for the night is free flow as there's a sponsor for the beer for the night. But too bad I dun drink. The rest of the guys tot one jar after another and drink like s if there's no tomolo. =p
Too bad the rest of the guys are not there, if not they sure will enjoy themselves one. Really wish that they were there too.
After the party, we headed back to the room to rest as there's a ride the very next day and some of the guys are marshal.

The girls from Thailand.After a good night sleep, woke up & went for my breakfast & get myself ready for the ride.
Saw Zhenhan there also. But I think he did mention that he will be there but I forgot all about it.
The first destination is to the old folks home where all the money collected will be donated to, then after tat we head for the place where we had our lunch and once again, its a feast.
This time round joined Zhenhan and his group as i cant find my friends.

The place we had our lunch.After the ride, we were marshal back to the hotel to get change & get ready for the 3 NCR grand dinner. And again, another feast. As me and other 2 have no groups, we were brought to share table with some of the other riders from SGP.
After dinner, I make my way out of the hotel top up petrol as I have decided to leave early morning to head to Malaysia by myself.
Woke up early to avoid the main convoy. And after a quick breakfast and internet surfing, I am on my way to Malaysia.
Hollanded for about 5km but manage to go back track and found the correct route to Sadao border.
The traffic was so clear for the early morning or maybe because its a sunday morning where everyone is having a good rest at home ba.
Took the risk to travel further in order not to pump too much in Thailand as the price for the petrol is also a killer. And I did it stopping only one stop on Thailand. =p

As the plan is to find Gerik highway & use Gerik highway to Betong. I wasted no time and head for top up b4 I make my way.
Got the info from one of the forum last time, so I decided to check it out.
But ended up hollanding around the area after the 1st route.
As time pass very fast and sky getting darker, decided to forgo the plan and head for Cameron Highland to find Daniel & the rest who went there for their holiday trip.
But I will try the Gerik to Betong one day!!!

This time round to use Tapah route downhill to save some time but there's still slight jam as its a public holiday and people are heading back home too. Sianz...
Actually, supposed to follow the rest to Ayer Keroh R&R to meet up with the rest who went down 1st, but realise that my max just can't follow up with their speed and the higher speed traveled makes my max fuel consumption up.
So decided to move on alone again as not to slow down the rest process.
After departing, I'm on my own again. And trying my luck again to travel further distance. ~LOL~
And I did it again but waited a long time to pump as there's many bikes too.
Decided to head to GP town to have my favorite, Naan Cheese with extra cheese for my dinner and then back home after top up at GP Esso.
This time round manage to jot down the mileage and fuel info.
And hopefully this can be a rough guide to allow further distance travel between each stop next time round up north.

Its been a busy year for me.
Hoping to complete a few trips with the rest like Port Dickson, Penyabong, KL, Hatyai and hopefully someone can join me to 3NCR next year.
Have been thinking alot and fighting for laughter for the past few months.

How I wish I can be just like those who can cry out easily to make myself feel better.
Suddenly miss the days walking & shopping in the supermarket neh...
But now all what can I do going to supermarket alone? I wonder... =(
