Planned a trip to Cameron Highland to have a short break away from all the trouble & stuff that happens for the past months.
John & Donny joined me for this trip. =)

John & Donny.Day 1:
Meeting up 2359Hr @ SPC Tuas, we had a small chat then on our way for the journey to Cameron Highland. =)
Had a small jam (as usual) @ the custom then headed for a pump @ GP Esso before we set off for the night ride up. =D

Our 1st stop is Pagoh R&R (Shell) which is mostly the usual stop to all travelling up north. =P
But quite tiring as the 3 of us don't really have enough rest before the trip. =P

After a rest, we continue our journey.
But this time round, we decided to skip Seremban R&R & headed for Dengkil R&R (Caltex) instead. =D
Think too tired liao then forgot to take camera out to take shoots. =P
Before we reach Dengkil R&R, we decided to stop @ one of the turn (Exit 214) where most will forgot & say hi to KL when they go straight. =P
As usual, the 2 of them are up to something funny. =D
And I joined in the fun. =D
Journey continue after some nonsense. lol...
But the rest of the journey is the most tiring and challenging ones.
Starting from Dengkil R&R to Tapah R&R (Shell), our travelling speed dropped & **nearly dozed off while riding. @.@

And at 645am, after some struggling ride, we finally rch our last stop @ Tapah R&R. =)
As day break is still minutes away, we had our kopi session before heading to pump. =)
After the kopi session, we went on to had our last pump before heading uphill to Cameron Highland. =D
Up till now I still don't understand Y my bike always become table. =P
Day 2:
As usual, uphill via Tapah you will stop by the waterfall to have a rest or take photos. =D
And there's some other things that you can do but don't get caught. =P

The corner going up by Tapah is always fun but the road condition abit out. =P
After the photo taking session & monkey business, we carry on our way uphill. =)
As time is still early, we headed straight to the Old Boh Tea Plantation before heading to get the hotel room. =P
But we are still early as the cafe still not open for business yet. =P
So we waited..............................................................................................

The air there is always fresh in the morning. & the scenery is always refreshing. =)
Saw a nice black cottage house. Nice. =)
How i wish i own it. =P
After breakfast, we headed for the hotel.

Manage to check in early as we reached around 11am. =P
Nothing great though, but a decent place to stay. =P
& the bed is always the central of attraction after a long ride. =D
So we set a time to wake up & went on to take a nap.... zzzzz
Woke up @ around 3pm and get ourselves prepare for lunch. =P
As our hotel is @ Tanah Rata, we juz rode our bike out to the Bus Terminal which is less than 1KM. =D
Had our lunch @ Marrybrown as usual. =P
After lunch, we set off to Brinchang to have our hair cut. =)
This is the saloon we had our hair cut but to our disappointment, this time there's no mei mei & the hair stylist skill abit cannot make it. =(

After the hair cut, its still early to go to the weekend market.
So we decided to go back to Tanah Rata to have a kopi & stickers session. =D
The sky seems to become darker so we proceeded to the weekend market @ Brinchang again. =P
Walking around looking for food for our dinner and came across this ice cream stall selling home made ice cream.
And eating ice cream in cold weather is the most shiok thing to do there. =P
the ice cream may not be nicer than Singapore ones though. ^.^
After getting our dinner we headed back to Tanah Rata.
Stopping by the roadside to get drink from one of the provision shop. =)
As usual, the one with box will get to carry all the food back. =P
After getting the drinks, we headed back to the hotel to enjoy our dinner. =)
Did not manage to finish the food cause really too full liao. =P
As usual, talk cock session starts after dinner. =D
Planned to go out for kopi session but i think Donny too tired liao as he dozed off on the bed while me & John continue to talk. & counseling session starts. =P
After a long talk we decide to call it a day too as its already 2am in the morning. @.@
Day 3:
Waking up @ 8am in the morning to get ready for breakfast & checking out is damn tiring especially when we slept late. =P
After breakfast, we headed to Brinchang to book hotel rooms for the group that is coming 2 weeks after us. After booking the hotel we set off & head to look for the Lake Kenyir.
Turning to the other part down hill of Cameron to Gua Musang. The corners are more wider & the road are nicer to get it down. =D
Forgot to bring my tripod for this trip. As there's not much vehicles @ that point of time, Donny decided to use the centre divider wall to use it as a tripod & finally we had our 3 men team group photos. =D
After the photo taking session we continue our journey to Gua Musang town where it have a new highway to Lake Kenyir.
As the weather on that day is too hot, we stopped by one of the coffee shop to take a cooling drink & asking direction(forgot to bring map also) to Lake Kenyir. =D
After a short break & directions, we headed to top up our bikes as the journey is quite far from where we were.
As directed by the helpful lady boss from the coffee shop, we moved on & reached a place where tar road & off road meets. @.@
So we decided to give it a try in thru the off road thinking the road further down will be better.
But the outcome is reversal when a small accident occured. ^.^
After 18km of off road riding, Donny's clutch snapped so we had to stop & get it change.
That's the scenario where no one will wana face while on road trip and riding off road is definitely no joke as you really have to fight to get your bike on the track. =(
But we still have to get it done. =)
After getting the clutch done, we decided to turn back as its getting late & there's still no sign of the lake. =(
But we have proven one of the quotes.
Adventure is taking inappropriate equipment to Out-Of-The-Way places. =D
Finally, we are back on the road after another round of 18km off road riding. =P
And result is gotta go back Singapore & have a good wash for our bikes. @.@
After having a drink @ the nearby provision shop, we headed back for home going the same way back to Simpang Pulai and downhill again. =p
It started to rain while riding across the hill area. =(
But everything went fine & we reached Simpang Pulai R&R to have our tank filled. =)
After a rest, we set off on our journey back home. As usual, the way back always looks so far. =D
Decided to try our luck travelling further distance to cut down the numbers of stops to get back faster as time is running out. =P
And we made it to Sungei Buloh R&R with 1/2 tank or lesser. =D
Continue our journey & pushing our luck again, we stopped @ Ayer Keroh R&R where we rested longer @ this stop. =P
so we bought some sandwiches and drinks as we still have not had our dinner yet. ^.^
Saw a ST11 Rider while resting & he suggested that we ride together as he is alone and we agree to his idea as our plan is to hit Gelang Patah. =)
My speedo stop while riding back but still have to continue with the journey without knowing the speed I'm travelling. =(
Didn't manage get to take photo with him as we split route after we reach the JB & GP junction and he is travelling towards JB where the exit is nearer to his house. =P
Surprisingly, we manage to reach Gelang Patah from Ayer Keroh before 12am as we set off @ 10pm. =P
After a top up & break we headed home with a damn shag body. @.@
Overall for this trip is good except for the off road riding part but we get to experience how it is to ride on an off road. =)
And not much damage only for Donny's clutch, John nailed tires & my speedo magnet after getting it checked. =P
Hopefully my next trip up will be more exciting. =)
My next trip will be 3 Nation Charity Ride in October @ Surat Thani, Thailand.
This time round will be travelling alone up as the rest of the guys are busy or for some other reasons. =(
Anyway, its what I wanted to do and that is to travel alone up north to get the feel of travelling alone. =P
But what I most wanted to do or maybe you can say its my dream, that is to bring my gf/wife up with me. =)
But that for now can only be a dream or maybe its just a dream that can never be fulfilled ba. =(
Ok la. Till then, will update my trips & events happening around.
